In general, almost all materials are well-suited for installation on underfloor heating, on condition that a number of points are considered. In any case, installation on a screed (cementitious screed) is preferred. The heating pipes are best 4-5 cm below the surface. With tiles or natural stone, it is very important that the bonding is done with a high performance flex adhesive mortar. More info can be found under the placement section or when you click on the Weber Broutin logo. Joints are finished with a flex grout. When grouting, the last joint that joins the wall remains open in order to guarantee its function. The plinth closes this gap. The screed tape against the walls should not be removed until after grouting. For large areas, fine discreet expansion joints are used in the color of the grout. The underfloor heating system must be turned off for at least two days before installation. The screed must be in place for at least 3 weeks before installation.
